Senior Living in Carrollton, Texas | Sonoma House

Sonoma House

Feels like Home

Every detail of Sonoma House is designed to feel like home. We offer a family-inspired, small-house model where seniors enjoy meaningful connections, personalized support, and true residential comfort, with private bedrooms, open kitchens, and inviting outdoor spaces that blend independence with thoughtful care.

Why Families Choose Us

Our community is made up of individual houses set along private, tree-lined streets, each featuring beautiful landscaping, a large front porch, and a shaded backyard, all connected by a walking path that lets neighbors visit one another just as they would in a traditional neighborhood. This family-like atmosphere combined with our lower resident-to-caregiver ratios results in extremely personalized care and a greater degree of choice.

From our smaller size to our family-inspired atmosphere; Sonoma House offers a warm, inviting, and safe home for your loved one.

Brighten up an early morning with delicious eats at Leo’s Brunch House on your way to Coyote Ridge Golf Club. Find your local friends hanging out at the Castle Hills Community Center and then enjoy the outdoors at Harvest Run Park. Carrollton is the place to be, with numerous opportunities to indulge in the outdoors at community parks and recreational areas nearby.

Each Home Consists of:

  • 16 thoughtfully appointed bedrooms with private bathrooms
  • An open-plan design that positions the kitchen as the heart of the home, encouraging residents to pull up a chair and share a favorite recipe or have a conversation with caregivers while they cook
  • Centrally located dining and living areas that are close to each bedroom for convenience and mobility
  • A single large table in the dining room so residents and caregivers can enjoy meals together as a family

A Sense of Community

Sonoma House fosters a sense of community. Each house includes common living areas, open kitchens and communal gardens. Staff members are dedicated to a specific house but are not confined to restricted roles, ensuring they have the latitude to care for and interact with residents just as they would their own families

Person-Centered Care

People flourish when they have meaningful relationships and interactions with others. Everything about Sonoma House, from our architecture to our hiring practices, is put in place to build these reciprocal one-on-one relationships between residents and caregivers, neighbors and family members.

Individuality & Independence

Each of our residents is unique, with his/her own preferences, values and needs. While many traditional facilities require residents to conform to rigid schedules, we celebrate freedom of choice. Residents can sleep in when they please, socialize and mingle, enjoy an afternoon snack, and go about their lives as they would in their own home.

“The staff made Dad feel like a king. I’ll be forever grateful.”
